Our Story
Part Mexican, part New Yorker - Daniela Cardenas has an innate passion for jewelry and anything that sparkles. Her earliest memories illustrate her grandmothers jeweled up. Her Mexican grandmother wore vibrant colored gemstones; coordinated to perfection. Her New York grandmother wore classic pearl sets & Van Cleef.
For Daniela, jewelry is beautiful for the significance it holds in such small sculpture-like shapes. She loves the intimacy of jewelry and thinking about the life it will live beyond the designer’s hand. The history and energy created by each user becomes generational memorabilia that fuels her passion. Each piece allows us to carry memories & those little important moments we want to keep close to us.
She graduated from one of the most prestigious design schools, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts. After graduating from Parsons The New School for Design she immersed herself into the world of jewels by becoming a GIA Graduate Gemologist and completing several other courses at The Fashion Institute of Technology and L’ecole de Van Cleef.
Most importantly, through working one on one to create custom engagement rings in New York City’s Diamond District, Daniela fell in love with the intimate process of creating something people will cherish for the rest of their lives.
